Same number, same app, and you stay the account owner. Here's how coexistence works with the AI Employee.
The AI Employee doesn't ask for a new number. It connects to the WhatsApp Business account your business already uses, and that number stays yours from day one: if you ever stop working with Zyneronix, the number and the conversations stay with you.
Meta allows one WhatsApp Business account to have two entry points at once: the regular app, still installed on your business's phone or tablet, and an API connection for the assistant. This is called coexistence, and it's the official, authorized way to run a bot without giving up the app you already use.
In practice, your front desk (or you) keeps writing and reading messages from the phone exactly as today. The AI Employee only steps in when nobody at your business answers, and steps back the moment someone on your team writes from the app.
There are two very different ways to put a bot on WhatsApp. One is an unverified QR code that connects the number to an outside service without full Meta authorization: it's fast, but it leaves the number exposed to bans with no backing. The other is the official WhatsApp Business API, the channel Meta offers businesses through a formal process, with account verification and clear usage rules.
Zyneronix always uses the official route, through 360dialog, a Business Solution Provider (BSP) directly authorized by Meta. That means your account is opened with your own details, verified in your name, and follows the same rules as any business using WhatsApp to serve its customers.
The only technical condition of coexistence is that someone at your business opens the WhatsApp Business app at least once every 13 days. This is a Meta rule, not ours, meant to confirm there's still a real human using the account. If your team opens WhatsApp with normal business frequency, this requirement takes care of itself; we still email you if the deadline is approaching.
A real limitation worth stating plainly: Meta does not support the blue verified badge (Official Business Account) on coexistence accounts. This isn't something Zyneronix controls or something you can buy separately; it's a technical restriction of Meta for this type of connection. The badge doesn't affect the assistant working or your customers getting a reply, only the visual mark next to your business name.
The WhatsApp Business API account is registered in your business's name, with your tax details, not Zyneronix's. We configure it, connect it to the assistant and help with verification, but ownership — and the responsibility that comes with it toward Meta — is always yours. This is spelled out the same way in the terms of service.
This is a real risk for any business using WhatsApp Business, with or without an AI assistant: Meta can limit or block a number if it detects usage that doesn't meet its policies (bulk messaging, user complaints, pending verification). Our contract states it plainly, with a specific clause on Meta blocks, instead of burying it in fine print.
If it happens, the plan has two steps: first we help you file an appeal with Meta and the documentation they typically ask for; if the block drags on, we set up an alternative number in coexistence so your business isn't left without WhatsApp while it's resolved.
